Updates on my KL Trip

Halo peeps,

I noe i've been neglecting and ignoring my blog for more than a month now. Haiz...i've been super busy...moreover with me just starting out on my new work. I have something to say abt my new workplace...IT IS SO FUN!!! I never knew working in a call center could be so much fun. The people, the culture & the environment is waaayyy better compared to my previous workplace. Overall i think i made the right choice. Ok i shall stop talking abt my work now...i do not want you to get bored yah.

Anyways on the 20th August 2006, me, faris ,suzlyna & azwan (suzlyna's bf) went for our KL Trip. My sister offers to send us to JB on that friday night. The thing is we have bought the bus ticket at JB instead of SG because we want to cut cost. It cost us RM32 (SGD17) for 1-way bus ticket to KL. Anyways we took this small van from JB to Lakin & board the bus from there.
It was a 5 hr journey to KL & when we reach it was abt 5.30am.
Once we've reach, we headed straight to any bus counters that is opened at that point of time, and purchase tix to go back to SG on sun. We wanted it in the afternoon on sunday but we are told that the only timeslots available was a 11pm on Sun to go back to SG. I was like WTF as the next day (Monday) i still have to go for my training at 9am! Imagine that! But we are left with no choice and we bought the tix anyway...wat to do.

After that we headed down to our hotel, Hotel Capitol (I noe the name sound very budget but it actually a 3* STAR hotel eh...), unfortunately we are unable to check in early as the hotel is fully booked! We can only checked in at 12 noon. So what do the 4 very lost people do? We have breakfast at 6am.

Then we took the LRT to Bukit Nanas & walk to KLCC. We thought of queing up for the tix to go up the twin tower. Seriously, we thought that we are amongst the first few crazy lot (Kiasu S'poreans mah) to queue up for the tix...becoz c'monlah its only 7am & who would bother to go there and queue up. Anyway we thought since they're giving out 100 tickets, we got a high chance of getting it. But boy we are so wrong. So bloody wrong. By the time we reach there the queue was already very very long. We decided not to waste our time queing up. We do not know what to do....the shops are not yet to open until 10am and we still have 3 hrs to kill. So we went for a walk in the park just outside KLCC while waiting for Starbucks to open at 8.30am.

So after that we went back hotel & take a rest. The hotel interior is super nice for a 3 star hotel and furthermore it is situated in the golden triangle of KL, smacked right in the middle of the town so its very near to shopping malls and makan places.

In the afternoon, we went to Berjaya Time Square-Cosmo Themepark.It was a first time for suzlyna &azwan but it was my 3rd time visiting their theme park.Suzlyna was being tricked into riding the most terrifying ride. I swear to you she is super duper scared after taking the 1st ride that she do not feel like taking other rides. All the time on the ride, she shut her eyes and muttering some prayers under her breathe. It was quite funny initially but after then i felt for her. She is really genuinely scared. Aniways we have lotsa fun. We had our dinner at the food court at level 7.

Guess what happen to Suzlyna after we went back to Hotel? She had fever so we had to cancel our plans to go clubbing. Actually i was really looking forward to it but friends health come first.

The next day we went to the very controversial exibition which is the Pameran Hantu & Jin at Sultan Alam Shah Museum. We asked the help of Azwan's bestfriend, Mahathir who happen to work in KL to drive us to the museum. It took around 1/2 (exclu the traffic jam) to reach the museum. Not very far from KL city.

My verdict of the exibition: IT IS TOTALLY NOT WORTH MY RM5 & NOT WORTH MY TIME AND EFFORT OF TRAVELLING ALL THE WAY FROM SG JUST TO WATCH THE EXIBITION.
Bottomline: It sux!

Its not scary at all and we're not allowed to stay too long at the glass exibition that has the pocong in it! What the hell kan! The security guard rushes us to another station before we get a chance to really see the pocong! So unfair! When we ask if we could go back to that particular exibition again, he didn't allow us to do so! Stupid. The rest of the exibit display was quite alright. Im not scared even. More sceptical than scared i must say. I start to think now that maybe all the exibit are fakes. I do not noe & i do not wish to comment any further.

Mahathir drive us to Mid Valley Megamall after that. It was super big and super crowded shopping centre. The shopping centre is known to be the largest one in KL.
Did some shopping here and there. Went to sungei wang plaza to shop too. Just bought 2 high-heels, Body Shop Vanilla perfume, a shirt and 3/4 denim pants. We have very limited time to shop due to the time constraint.

3-weeks Update!

Hi guys.....its has been quite sometimes since i update....haiz...sad to say i think it has to be like this from now on.
On a lighter note, August is just around the corner & i simply love August! Simply becos theres series of event im looking forward to:

1) 7th Aug: My 1st day at a new workplace! (Yesh! I've quit my job and has been employed by another quite established company & yesh...not IT line (puh-lease)...i need a change & need to figure out what exactly im good at....so yah.)
2) 9th Aug: National Day-It is special birthday celebration for our country & also an event thats holds a significant meaning for me & baby faris.
3) 26th Aug: My 6th year anniverssary! =)
4) 31st Aug: Baby Faris ORD!!!

Well to save you from any lengthy and boring entry of mine, why don't i put in point form (trying to be organized here...) what i have been doing for the past 3 weeks.....

*I met up with my secondary school fren, nisa 2 weeks ago on a saturday. Basically just catching things up with each other cos i haven't got the chance to meet her...we always planned to go out with each other but ended up not meeting so i make it a point to meet her. Iwas nice....we had lunch at Puncak-Far East and being Nisa...as usual very weight-cautious, just opt for very bland fishball noodle wherelse me...hah....was starving at that time ordered wanton mee. We talk alot...haha...nisa is the chatty one...im more of a listener. After that we went city hall to watch radin and her friends practice their dance routine at the esplanade underpass. Nisa was so shocked to see radin cos i reckon the last she saw her was during Secondary school so she naturally shocked (who wouldn't? ;)) to see radin so beautiful! She kept staring at rad! Haha crazy girl! Anyway Nisa left after Rad has finished her dance practice....actually my real motive of meeting rad was to treat her to dinner as i haven't got any chance to buy her any presents for her birthday! It was nice...just the 2 of us and just catching things up...on each other's life.

*Went to watch a couple of movies the past weeks:

-Pirates of the Carribean: Dead Man's Chest (free movie pass)
-The Lake House
-Lady in the Water

My verdict, all the 5 movies are not bad actually....but my fav has to be The Lake House of course! The storyline is so unique & thats what actually captivates me. Though it can be quite slow but it was definately worth watching.....very mushy & lovey-dovey story. Great for you couples out there to watch.....;)

Especially for you SipS!

Siping i will definately miss you! I am sorry if i cannot make it today for the last gathering they arranged for you as i have a cousin wedding to attend.

Thanks for being my friend & always helping me in so many ways. The few months that we have spent being project lab mates and classmates have seriously brought me closer to you. Before that we are just friends but those few months have made me feel as though u're like a buddy to me for the following reasons --->for me to crack my lame jokes to, for you to say sarcastic things to, for me to argue with....and for us to cam-whore in times of need hehe.

Nevertheless i wish you all the best for your future endeavours and please keep in touch though u're so far in australia but theres always internet for you to contact me with....just email each other ok! Hopefully u'll meet nice-cute-veins protroding from hand kind of ang moh guys there yah! hehe.....

PS: Hope you forgive me cos of the other time i got us lost when u're sending me back to my hs...hehe when i got a chance i pay u the petrol money that i wasted on that day yah! hehe imagine got lost until reached geylang man! hehe...thinking back that is so funny.....;)

Finally a rojak update!

Hi guys...i noe i've been neglecting my blog for almost a month now....i've been very bad! Haiz....its not that i don't want to update but work is just taking a tad too much of my time......to the extent thati have no time for my own such as watching tv let alone update my blog. I confessed that i have no life! Let me tell you that my week has somehow become very routine (read: boring). Weekdays will be working till late....and saturdays is a must to go out with the boy and sundays will be reserved for family activities. Now u got me?

Well....i do not want to write a lengthy and boring entry for today just enough that my life is already so boring so i do not want u out there who read my blog to fall asleep. So i am gonna sum up all the major activities that i've done.

20th June 2006-Graduation Day cum Julie's Engagement

Well after 3 years of hard work, the day i've been waiting for so long finally came. I am proud to say that i have officially graduated from Nanyang Polytechnic with Diploma in Engineering Informatics. Although i am not one of them to receive Certificate of Merit (COM) (unlike my fren jirin), nevertheless im happy & contented. Well that memorable day was attended by 2 most important ppl in my life-My Dad & my Sister.
Well after that graduation ceremony, we went to julie's hs as she was getting engaged on that fine day. Haha double joy for her! Well im so happy for her!

24th June 2006-Gathering of Primary School Friends

This is really unexpected. Suelas actually sms me & invite me to bbq pit on that saturday and she says that most of our primary school friends will be there...at the mention of names, i was really excited and curious to see my all of them. Some of the names mentioned were those that i haven't seen in years! Imagine that! Hehe it wsas overall fun. Cos its like a reunion of class 1998 of Jin Tai Primary Sch! Although not everybody was there but i was satisfied with the turnup. I got to mit Nurul whom last i met was in sec2....LOL....it was also a reunion of the 4 Spice (me,azimah,aisyah & nurul). That was wat we called ourselves last time...yah so lame i noe. But Spice Girls was the IN thing last time. Aniways....i have put up afew pictures for u guys to enjoy....

PS: how i wish i got a scanner so i can scan our old pics and compare it with the present ones...hehe but if i were to do that i think a lot of ppl gonna kill me so i rather not.

Girls Day Out!!!

Last friday i went out with the girls....Aisyah,Suhana & Azimah!
Yup...finally got to meet them. Haha i've always been bz and my free time will be spent with dear faris so for a change, i opt to go out with the gals instead. It was fun! Talk alot...haha im unusually chatty that day. Especially to suhana cos my god the last time i met her was during last year fasting month....its like 7 months ago...and i didn't get to talk much to her also. But on last friday...while waiting for Aisyah & Azimah.....me & suhana met up 1st and oh boy we did talk alot.

Most of the conversation involves recollecting old primary schools memories.....hehe we laugh and laugh at the thought of those years....haiz....how time flies without us realising. And meeting Aisyah and Azimah, dinner follow suit.....we ate at Ayam Penyet! It was a 1st time for them. It turns out that they did like Ayam Penyet! Then cam-whoring time....me & suhana both brought our digicam.

Anyway Azimah have to leave early as she needs to attend chalet at pasir ris. We accompanied Aisyah shopping.....went to Isetan butshe didn't bought much stuffs...maybe the stuffs there are not to her liking. She just bought a turquois top. Quite pretty.Suffice to say i really enjoy myself & am looking forward to another outing with them...hopefully soon.

Reflections

Sometimes life doesn't go as smoothly as we so much wanted it to be....how good it is if life is problem-less and free of jerks and bitches who only know how to hurt ppl. Those ppl won't live to enjoy life coz their heart is just filled with pure hatred,grudges and most of all......jealousy. Jelousy is the most powerful tool that can really destroy a relationship. I don't understand why sometimes ppl can make use of their love ones. That is just absurb. To make use and make the person believe he's worthy of her love. The thing is the victim didn't even realize that the guy is making use of her until shit happens. Even then....she still willing to forgive him. Because why? Simple.

SHE LOVES HIM.

To think that the cliche love is blind is somehow true. She went all out for the person and he make use of her. Not a little. But wayyyyyyyyyyy alot. Why is he so heartless......jerk!
He manipulated her. Time and time again. She didn't realize it coz she tot that everything she did was bcoz she LOVE HIM so much. I don't understand why theres such person in this world.
That girl really has a heart of gold.....she even wishes that he'll be happy with the bitch! And i'm here cursing and swearing on behalf of her......she can still say she LOVES HIM.
Maybe saying is always easier. But if i were to be in her shoes, i would have hated that person so much so i won't forgive him. But thats the difference u noe.....shes bless with a heart of an angel....she is so pure......shes willing to forgive him.

However i think GOD has other plans in store for her.....maybe things happen for a reason. Maybe she will meet her prince charming one day. Definately not that jerk. I'm glad he's out of her life. For good.

For now, i have to appreciate him (read: FARIS). I hope our relationship won't be like that. Now u understand me dear when i really object u until we fought time and time again when u raised that particular issue. There we have a tragic examples that will remind us anything can happen dear. We have to have each other. I love you dear.......

Class Chalet!!!

Halo....i noe i've been neglecting my blog for some time...not bcos im lazy but simply becos im buzy...hey that rhyme! Aniways, i have an overdue entry of my poly class chalet that took place last fri-sun. I only came on saturday (hmmphf miss lots of fun!), but i truly enjoyed myself to the fullest just being around ppl whom i have spent my last 2 years or so with. Lots of memories...happy times most of it are still vivid....

Anyways the class chalet went well, we have barbeque on saturday nite with lots of food to eat...thanks to the cook--->Andy & Warren.....haha most of the food were barbequed by them...the rest? haha our job is only to finish the food!!!

Hahaha....after the barbeque, initially me, sara, suzlyna and riduan wanted to go and watch midnite movie and we ask the rest if they're up for it but nah....they chose to relax at the chalet instead.....but me being the most restless one there could not stand the idea of just hanging ard doing nothing...haha so we ask andy.....& after much persuasion, andy agreed to follow! After that, we decided to switch plans to play pool instead but the pool place closes at 11.30pm! An it was already 11pm then....gosh riduan and sara search for the bowling alley but nowhere to be found.....so we decided to go back to the initial plan which was catching a late nite movie......haiz....guess the luck was not on our side...we reach the mrt only to miss the last train! damn! Off we go wandering to find bustop and look for night rider....theres NR7 but it will only come at 1pm...and it was only 11.40pm at that time! We hang ard at the bustop for sometime then decided to go to the 'BEDOK' jetty( saravanan tot it was bedok jetty!!! we are at pasir ris for heaven's sake..how can that be bedok jetty???)......to chill there. luckily the place is quite lively despite it being so late. There were ppl fishing and theres a cafe there...so we sat down and all of us are actually quite sleepy already then we came out with this idea to play spin the bottle! Interesting game.....w/o dare just truths be told. So i can say that with that game.....i got to noe more than i needed to noe abt my 4 friends......it was so good....it was like an elaboration of an orientation sessions. We went back to the chalet at 3.30pm and everybody was asleep....we went to sleep too after that.

Well suffice to say i did really enjoy the chalet! I must say that i will really miss them! Miss the laughters....the jokes....the crazy times we play catching at Blk L lvl 6 and those times during nite class.....I am lucky to be in D6! I am lucky to have found these ppl in my life. All with their unique characters and attitude. But nevertheless....our class is the most united class i've ever been in. I wanted to say thanks to all of u for making my years in poly a memorable and special one......
